Five-drawer lateral file features drawer extension restraint so mechanical interlock inhibits the extension of more than one drawer at a time. Deep file provides storage for large-volume records. Accommodates letter-size or legal-size files either front-to-back (with optional hangrails sold separately) or side-to-side. Top four shelves roll out while bottom opening is a drawer. Lateral file includes a posting shelf, four adjustable leveling glides and two adjustable hangrails per drawer for side-to-side filing. Three-part, telescoping, slide suspension operates on 40 steel ball bearings per slide. Equipped with HON One Key interchangeable core removable locks. Keyed alike cores must be ordered separately. Made with reinforced case construction and baked enamel finish over rust-inhibiting phosphate pretreatment. Recessed drawer pull/label holder is made of bright anodized aluminum. Meets or exceeds ANSI/BIFMA and ISTA performance standards.
