Write-Once, Read-Many (WORM) capability helps you to integrate a cost-effective solution easily to secure, manage, and archive compliant data records to meet stringent industry regulations. Smoother base film and smaller magnetic particles increase the bit density, allowing more data to be recorded in the same amount of tape increasing the number of recording tracks to 706 tracks. Smoother, thinner basefilm enables a longer tape to be packed into the same size cartridge shell, contributing to the increased capacity. Ultrium 800GB WORM cartridges last up to 30 years archival life and/or 260 full back-ups. Two-tone colored cartridge shell enables quick and easy identification of a WORM tape from RW tape.
